The G2 Academy shares the nationwide concern over the COVID-19 Crisis.
Here is the good news.
The G2 Academy is maintaining relatively normal operations at this time. You can call or email us with questions and we will either answer immediately or respond within 24 hours.
Our team is following every update and guideline set by the CDC, WHO, and the government and implementing and following their advisements.
As with all things, this too shall pass. We are confident that summer will be the “light at the end of the tunnel”. We want to give you hope and something to look forward to!
We plan on having our small, individualized and awesome Summer Camp 2020.
Our summer program starts June 15th and runs through August 7th. You can stay for one week, or multiple weeks.
Every precaution will take place to ensure the safety of our students.
Weekly Enrollment will be limited to 10 players
We have changed our Summer Camp Registration Deposit Policy to allow for more flexibility.
In order to complete registration for G2 Summer Camp, you will be required to submit a $200 deposit (normally 50% of tuition).
The deposit is refundable, however you must cancel by June 1, 2020 to receive your refund.
The balance of your tuition will be due 2-weeks prior to arrival at summer camp.
Why are we going ahead with Summer Camp and our Plans?
Due to the warm, humid weather that summer in South Carolina guarantees, transmission of airborne infectious diseases like COVID-19 becomes much harder.
Population density is directly linked to the ease of transmission of airborne infections; lower population means lower risk for infection.
Golf is still one of the activities that is deemed safe during this time when using proper precautions.
While we all wait for summer to arrive, follow these tips to stay safe and still get to play golf!
Bring and use your own pushcart. If you have to rent a pushcart or ride, wipe down/sanitize the areas where you, your bags, or your clubs will touch.
Sanitize your grips before you play.
Avoid practice areas where it is hard to follow the 6ft social distancing protocol.
Wash your hands throughout your round whenever you can - if you aren’t able to wash them with soap and water, use hand sanitizer liberally.
Don’t touch your face or mouth.
Stay “gimme distance” away from your playing partners.
Keep the flagstick in.
Do not exchange scorecards, tees, ball markers, etc.
Resist the urge to pick up someone’s lost ProV1 you find (or any other ball!)
Use your own pen/pencil.
If you do or can wear a glove, use it. If you can sanitize it before and after your round that is ideal.
Don’t handle someone else’s clubs.
Don’t share rangefinders.
In all things, practice caution and vigilance knowing the risks and proper practices in place to reduce the risk of transmission.
We look forward to the 2020 G2 summer program!!!! Please contact us with any questions - via email - email@example.com, or phone - 843-400-3015.
